Love Better In 5 Simple Ways

Love Better In 5 Simple Ways

1. Be patient with others, grant them the same patience that you would want.

2. Have a humble mindset. You were created by the almighty God, therefore you cannot boast and take credit for your abilities, accomplishments, or successes. Let me say it again, you were created by God, the one who created everything! The creator of the entire universe which extends billions of years, cares about you! Live your life as a humble servant, the highest and most powerful person ever to set foot on this earth was also the most humble.

3. Be slow to anger, understand that everyone makes mistakes, everyone sins. The only comparison you should make is to Jesus Christ. He died for all of us and it is only by his grace and sacrifice that we can have life today.

4. Always look to help others. Today’s society is totally backwards emphasizing an all about me attitude. It’s gotten so bad that we feel entitled to everything, even at an early age your starting to see this. Stop being so selfish! God’s grace is the only reason you’re here, what a blessing! Keep that mindset and you’ll start to WANT to help others. By the way, there is one opportunity you can do each and everyday that comes with a 100% guarantee, helping others.

5. Preserve, life is difficult and people will hurt you, slander you, embarrass you, reject you, and abandon you. Even those closest to you will at one point or another do this simply because, we’re all sinners. However, when this happens you have to learn to preserve through it. Don’t worry though, you are not alone. God is right there with you, he knows your pain because his son experienced it all when he came to this earth. God will get you through it but you have to depend on his strength and not your own. His strength will allow you to preserve through the most difficult times.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” -1 Corinthians 13:4-7
